Howard is Wrong

Ok, so maybe there isn’t much going on in the world of Howard Stern related news, but how come it seems like everything that Howard’s wife Beth does is worthy of an interview by Lisa G? Whether she’s going on some stupid TV show we’ve never heard of, or, like today, she is helping to coauthor a book about dogs, we have to get interrupted multiple times a day to hear about it? The only reason she married Howard is to help her nonexistent career, and now she basically has a whole news team to keep people informed of her happenings. Well guess what, nobody cares about her!

So, today on the Howard Stern Show on Sirius, Howard announced that long time sidekick, writer, and comedian, Artie Lange is missing from the show because he has once again fallen off the wagon.  He is apparently in or near Miami at what was first described as a rehab center, but then it came out that it is more like a health spa that Artie is allowed to leave every night and go to a fancy, plush hotel.  Howard, of course said that he had no idea, but this time it came as no surprise to any body that Artie was on drugs the entire time.  After his stories about using cocaine, alcohol and heroin in the past, and his recent history of going missing from the show and then admitting to being on drugs at the time, how can anybody act like they didn’t see it coming?  It was just a few weeks ago that artie missed a day because he said that he needed to make a doctors appointment in the morning right in the middle of the show.  Everyone was speculating that he was back to using heroin again, but now when it comes out that Artie was using, Howard acts like he had no idea.  Come on Howard, just admit that you know whats going on and do something.  I know your not the head of Sirius, Howard, but you are the head of your show, and if he is causing problems then he either needs to get help or the show needs to move on.

Howard Stern finally got married to his long time girfriend this weekend. Stern and model girlfriend Beth Ostrosky tied the knot after dating for a reported 7 years. The Stern-Ostrosky wedding saw many celebrities in attendance, including Barbara Walters, Of course were happy for them and hope they have a long and prosperous marriage, but does anybody remember after he divorced his first wife? He swore up and down that he would never marry again and he even went out of his way to try and talk a few friends out of their marriage. I guess its just another thing that Howard is wrong about.

According to the above video, Howard Stern will be presiding over an auction over a young woman’s virginity on his radio show. Allegedly, the woman is a young 20-something student who said she needs the money to help pay for tuition. She is willing to take a lie detector test and undergo a gynecological exam to prove that she is in fact a virgin. The act will take place in a Nevada brothel, making the whole thing legal, as strange as that sounds.
